When you place an order, a purchase agreement is not established until Oatly's webshop sends you an order confirmation. Order confirmations are emailed no later than 24 hours from receipt of order. If a delivery time in an order is changed, we will inform the customer as soon as possible. You always have the right to cancel the purchase at no charge up until the goods are shipped. Oatly retains the rights of ownership and repossession of all goods until
full payment has been received from the customer. You must be at least 18 years of age to shop with us and Oatly must be able to confirm the customer's home address.
VAT at 25% is included in the prices for orders within the EU. Once an order is confirmed, prices may only be changed by circumstances beyond Oatly's control. Such circumstances include e.g. significant changes in production costs or changed VAT. There are no handling charges. Should prices change, the customer has the right to cancel the purchase at no charge.

We naturally want deliveries to take place as quickly as possible, but we are only able to guarantee delivery within 7-10 days from order confirmation.
We reserve the right for items to become out of stock before we have time to update our website; in such cases we will inform customers of the estimated delivery time. Customers always have the right to cancel a purchase at no charge if goods are not in stock.
Packages are dispatched as mail.
Sometimes deliveries delayed by our suppliers are beyond our control. This can happen when e.g. a supplier is unable to meet his delivery obligations to us or there are problems in the manufacturing process. Should this occur, Oatly bears no liability for compensation to the customer for any harm such a delay may entail. We will always do our utmost to inform you if a delivery is falling behind schedule. The customer always has the right to cancel a purchase at no charge in the event of a delayed delivery.
Oatly is liable for transportation to the customer. The customer and the transport company bear the risk for any returns to us.
When you receive your goods, it is important that you check the order immediately. If you have received the wrong order or damaged goods, contact us as soon as possible by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Buyer's remorse and the right to cancel
Under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act, private customers have the right to cancel within 14 days. This means you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods. Returned goods must be unused, intact, clean and fit for sale is new. When making use of the right to cancel, the customer bears the return shipping charge.
Oatly also offers its customers the right to exchange goods within 30 days of placing an order. This only applies to unused products.
If you wish to return a damaged or incorrect product, please email us for further instructions. Always email us at email@example.com before you send anything. Enclose the invoice or receipt so we can identify the return. Remember that you are liable for shipments to us.
For Oatly to accept a claim, it must reach us within two months of your discovering a defect on the product, however no later than three (3) years from the date of purchase.
In the unlikely event of a dispute that we cannot solve together you should know we always follow the Swedish National Board for Consumer Complaints’ (ARN) recommendations.
Refunds are made through PayPal. The amount is always refunded to the same account that was used for the purchase as soon as possible once we have received and approved the return.
We reserve the right to make price changes arising from misprints, major price deviations on the part of our suppliers or other circumstances that are beyond our control. Read more about unforeseen circumstances under Force Majeure below.
Protection of personal data
If your package cannot be delivered to your postbox but is sent to a distribution point, you will receive notification via email or text message. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the mobile telephone number, address and email address provided are correct.
If you do not collect your package within 14 days of your order's arrival at your distribution point, we will invoice you an administration charge of SEK 250, approx GBP 21 to cover our expenses in this regard.
In the event of war, natural disasters, industrial action, decisions by civil authorities and other comparable events beyond our control and which could not reasonably have been foreseen by Oatly and which mean we are unable to fulfil contracts or commitments entered into will constitute grounds for our release from obligations while the circumstances prevail.
